- The autism affect most areas of growth of human social and emotional, cognitive, pupils with autism are late for their normal peers in interaction skills, social communication, self-management and problem-solving skills. The research was presented a preliminary scale for diagnosis the autistic children, including three axes with (27) subset feature. the first axis is disorder in social interaction included (12) sub-feature, the second axis focus of linguistic communication disorder included (7) sub-feature, and the Third axis focus of repeated stereotypical behaviors which include (8) sub-attributes. The researcher presented a proposed program to teach basic skills in mathematics for Autistic children and their IQ higher than (70), and their degree of autism scale is (54) degree at least. And mental aged between (6-7) years. The goal of the program is to provide therapeutic methods for autistic children to help them master the basic skills of mathematics (addition - subtraction - multiplication - division). The program has been designing as short training sessions; each session includes a specific concept and applications, with some therapeutic activities. and the training sessions designed according to the Ausubel theory of Meaningful learning, in each session provide Advanced Organizer (short story), which includes scientific content to be taught in the context of thrill and excitement the children attention , with taking care to increase the learners positivist, Their participation and the developing their independent thinking. through using appropriate educational media, and assessment with formal assessment in the training session parts . The program included four topics distributed on (23) training session in addition to preliminary session for applied the pretest diagnosis scale, and closing session for applied the posttest diagnosis scale. To show the differences between pretest and posttest and the impact of the program. And presented recommendations and suggestions. The paper has ( 50) Reference.
