This article is part of the academic research related to the European project called Edu BioMed «Capacity building and applied research in Mediterranean UNESCO's Biosphere Reserves» and the work field conducted by the Laboratory of Studies on Resources, Mobility, Attractiveness (LERMA) team in the Biosphere Reserve of Arganeraie (BRA). The label of BRA is recognized as an exceptional biogeographical, natural and cultural ecosystem. However, this Biosphere Reserve is characterized by a complex relationship between its managers and the local population. This is mainly due to the innovative dynamics that affect its territories. Moreover, modernization takes place in an environment of socio-spatial fragility and impoverishment of indicators of economic viability. It is therefore important to consider the different levels of territorial integration of the BRA and the role of innovation in its sustainable development. The aim is to study the territorial integration of the RBA by analyzing the process of innovations that emerged at the RBA level. The reserve system is complex, it brings together a multitude of actions and decisions. The coordination between actors is hampered by the lack of a shared vision on the sustainable development of this reserve, and even its integration in different territorial level. A systemic approach was used 51 to clarify the alignment of each actor. A will has just appeared, but some work is needed to strengthen the leadership between them to cooperate and set together towards better integration of the BRA. Adapting the GIVE model to our scientific approach and to our innovation context adds value to the process of coordinating RBA actors.
