Ahmed J. Abid received the B.Sc. degree in Electronic Engineering from Dept. of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, University of Technology, Baghdad, Iraq in 2002. He received the M.Sc. degree in “Electronic Engineering” from University of technology, Baghdad, Iraq in 2004. He also received the Ph.D. degree in “Electronic and Communication Engineering” from University of Basrah, Basrah, Iraq in 2014. He worked as a teaching assistant and an instructor in the Dept. of Electronic Engineering, Technical Instructor Training Institute (ITIT), Middle Technical University, Baghdad, Iraq since 2006. He holds Head of the Dept. of Electri- cal Engineering at ITIT. Dr. Abid has published over twelve scientific and technical papers in the international and national journals and proceedings of conferences. His research interest includes solar photovoltaic farm, renewable energy, energy management, power line communication and embedded system design
