Usama Zaineldeen is a Professor at the Department of Geology, Al Azhar University - Gaza. He has obtained his Ph.D. in structural geology and remote sensing in 2000. Since then, he has worked in the field of structural geology, tectonic, remote sensing, geomorphology and earthquake activity. He is the author of several articles in reputed journals. His work is focused in the areas of Dead Sea, Gaza Strip and United Arab Emirates
