يعد النفط احد الموارد الاستراتيجية للدول المنتجة عامة ودول الخليج العربي خاصة، اذ يعتمد على إيراداته بصورة كبيرة في تمويل ميزانياتها وسد معظم احتياجاتها من النقد الاجنبي، فضلاً عن تسديد فاتورة الواردات، ولذلك تتأثر جميع الدول المنتجة بالتارجحات في اسعار النفط وبخاصة عندما تنخفض الاسعار حيث تتأثر الاسعار بالعديد من المتغيرات الاقتصادية وبخاصة العرض والطلب او المتغيرات السياسية والامنية. فضلاً عن ان دول الخليج العربي تمتلك حوالي %49.48 من الاحتياطي العالمي، ولكنها لا تمتلك سوقاً لتسعير العقود الآجلة والمستقبلية، ولذلك استعرض البحث اهمية الموضوع وامكانية قيام سوق لتسعير العقود الآجلة للنفط في دول الخليج العربي وذلك لتوفر اغلب مقومات هذه السوق

Oil is one of the important strategic resources for producing countries in general and Arab gulf countries specifically, where they depend largely on oil revenues to finance their budgets and satisfying their needs of foreign money as well as the payment of the import bills therefore, all producing countries is affected by fluctuations in oil price especially when price drop, because price are affected by many economic variables, especially, supply and demand or political and security variables. In addition, the Arab gulf countries have about % 49.48 of the world reserves, but they do not have a market for pricing futures countries. Therefore, this paper reviews the importance of this subject and the possibility of establishing a market for pricing futures contracts of oil in AGC, due to the availability of most of the components of the establishment of this market.
