Introduction: The defense in basketball requires us to focus on individual and collective work by the players and with great effort. Defensive follow-up plays a key role in the effectiveness of the match because most of the ball's possession is ended when the striker misses the basket. One of the measures of achievement in the world of basketball is to score as many points as possible on the opposing team so most of the developed countries in the game of basketball to develop their methods in the attack of various kinds, including rapid attack, his role in resolving the match.
• Research objectives: - Preparation of special exercises using the ring method in developing the skill of defensive follow-up and rapid attack basketball
This study included five sections :
The introduction of the research explaines that basketball needs – today more than any last time – more searching, analyzing and helping to develop the skill level and the roll of the mental operations such as giving attention to the play and its roll in the accuracy of basketball skills ; therefore, the importance of testing, discovering and experimenting increases to reach to beast.
This research has its importance by the studied variation, because it treats with one of the important factors in the mental operations which precedes the kinetic performance (The Attention) which represented in performance accuracy ; then, the aim of the kinetic performance will be achieved to learn the basketball skills .
By talking about the problem of the research , we know - clearly - that there are no clear differences in learning among the learners . Also, the teachers are not depending on using (The attention) to learn the basketball skills .
The aim of the research is to know the relationship between the accuracy of some of basketball skills and the attention .
The sample of the research represented by (30) students of the intermediate 2nd class with ages 13 – 14 years old .
The researcher concludes that the educational method due to the conformity trainings has a positive effect to learn the accuracy in some of basketball skills. Also, there's relationship between the accuracy of some of basketball skills and the attention.
The researcher recommends to use the educational method due to the conformity trainings by the teachers of sport through learning the basketball skills .
