Poets in Jordan enjoy broad culture which gave them the ability to highlight an amount of poetic awareness by employing an artistic construction that reflects their genuineness and the ability of choosing vocabulary and building a significant text. Besides, the culture of the contemporary poet and the facts and information which his poetry includes clarified the purity of his vision, the accuracy of his contemplation, and the sophistication of his portrayal. The aim of the study is to examine the image of wolf in contemporary Jordanian poetry in which wolf became a symbol and an artistic tool which objective is not the external but the symbol that is in harmony with its nature. The symbol of wolf helped poets express their intellectual visions, their psychological state,and their emotional reactions. Thus, wolf appeared in their poetic works embodying fertile dimensions: psychological, political, religious, andpublic.

أبرزت الثقافة التي يمتلكها كثير من الشعراء قدرتهم على البناء الفكري ،المعاصرين لقصائدهم، باختيا رهم الموضوعات القادرة على الكشف عن واقع تجربتهم، والبوح عن مكنونات أنفسهم ا تمنحه هذه الثقافة من ّ عم ً فضلا ، ٍ ع ا تشكيل فني و لمجمل أشعارهم، وذلك بحسن اختيار الألفاظ الدالة، والرموز المعبرة، والصور الموحية. تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى الوقوف على صورة الذئب في الشعر الأردني المعاصر، إذ أضحى رادُ وأداة فنية لا ي ً ا الذئب رمز به الظاهر، إنما يدخل في الرمز المنسجم مع طبيعته. لقد أعان رمز الذئب الشعراء على التعبير عن رؤاهم الفكرية، ّ وحالتهم النفسية، وانفعالاتهم ،الوجدانية بأبعاد ً إذ ظهر الذئب متلبسا وشعبية خصبة. ،نفسية،وسياسية، ودينية
