Flora and geoplanning science: case of Smir watershed (Tétouan, NW of Morocco). The Smir watershed flora has been studied as a subsystem according to an original taxochorological classification of the geoplanners method. With 370 floristic inventories corresponding to 375 species and 90 families, we have assessed the phytodiversity of Smir watershed landscapes. The characteristics analysis of this flora as weil as its interaction with the hamessing units (map of hamessing system) would show their economical interests for native activities including pharmacopaeia, native craftsmen, breeding and tourism, sectors that must be restructed and valorized. The safeguarding option aims a more rational and sustainable exploitation of this heritage.
