هدفت الدراسة إلى تطوير وحدتين دراسيتين في التربية الاجتماعية والوطنية في ضوء الأنموذج التوليدي البنائي وقياس أثرهما في تحسين مهارات التفكير العليا والمهارات الحياتية لدى طلاب المرحلة الأساسية. تكونت أفراد الدراسة من (60) طالباً من طلاب الصف الثالث الأساسي في مدرسة اليادودة الأساسية للبنين في الأردن للعام الدراسي 2013/2014. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة جرى إعداد اختبار مهارات التفكير العليا، واختبار المهارات الحياتية. وتم تطوير وحدتين دراسيتين في ضوء الأنموذج التوليدي البنائي. وبعد تنفيذ التجربة على مجموعتي الدراسة، أظهرت نتائج الدراسة وجود فروق بين متوسطي أداء مجموعتي الدراسة على اختبار مهارات التفكير العليا البعدي ولصالح المجموعة التجريبية، ووجود فروق بين متوسطي أداء مجموعتي الدراسة على اختبار المهارات الحياتية البعدي ولصالح المجموعة التجريبية التي درست الوحدتين المطورتين.

The purpose of this study was to develop two study units in the social and national education according to the generative constructivist model and measuring it effects on improvement of higher thinking skills and life skills of the basic stage students. Study sample consisted of (60) third grade students from AL-Yadodah school /Jordan for the scholastic year 2013/2014. To achieve the objects of the study, the higher thinking skills test was prepared and life skills test. The researchers developed the tow study units according to the generative constructivist model.
The study results showed the presence of differences between the averages performance of the two study groups on testing the higher thinking skills, and in favor of the experimental group that studied the two developed units. And the existence of differences between the average performance of the two groups of the study on the post testing of the life skills, and in favor of the experimental group that studied the tow developed units.
