تناولت الدراسة موضوع القدس في قرارات اليونسكو وسبل تفعيلها وقسمت إلى ثلاثة محاور: جاء المحور الأول بعنوان اليونسكو النشأة والتطور، والمحور الثاني رصد موقف اليونسكو من قضية القدس 1956 – 2017، وأما عن المحور الثالث: فتناول سبل تفعيل قرارات اليونسكو بشأن القدس، وخلصت الدراسة إلى عدة نتائج أهمها يعتبر موقف اليونسكو من قضية القدس موقفًا إيجابًا، ويظهر ذلك من خلال القرارات التي أصدرتها اليونسكو منذ عام 1956وحتى عام 2017 والتي وصلت إلى العشرين قرارًا، تناولت موضوعات متعددة منها: الحفريات وتسجيل القدس في قائمة الآثار المهددة بالخطر وأدانت إسرائيل تعدياتها على المقدسات، واعتبرت القدس الشرقية محتلة ويجب إنهاء سيادة الاحتلال عليها، وأهم ما أوصت به الدراسة: تفعيل المؤسسات الثقافية في القدس ودعهما، والعمل على إعداد خطة إعلامية منظمة ومحكمة تشرف عليها المجموعة العربية وتدعمها، مضادة للخطة الإعلامية الصهيونية المناهضة لقرارات اليونسكو، وتوجه للدول والشعوب الغربية على وجه الخصوص.

Abstract
This study addresses the issue of Jerusalem in UNESCO resolutions and the ways for activating them. The study has been divided into three main axes: the first is entitled by "UNESCO, the Foundation and Development", the second monitors UNESCO's position on the issue of Jerusalem from 1956 – 2017, and the third discusses the ways of activating UNESCO resolutions on Jerusalem. The study has concluded a number of findings, the most important of which is UNESCO's position of Jerusalem is a positive attitude, this can be seen through the decisions of issued by UNESCO since 1956 – 2017, which reached 20 resolutions, address several topics, including: excavations and registering Jerusalem in the record of threatened remnant, and Israel has condemned its encroachment on holy sites. And it considered East Jerusalem still under occupation, and this occupation should be terminated. The most important recommendations of the study is to activate, enhance and promote cultural institutions in Jerusalem, and to work on developing an organized systematic media plan organized and supervised by the Arab group as a contrary of Zionist media plan which is against UNESCO resolutions in particular.
