استخدم في هذا البحث نوعان من البوليمرات غير المطاوعة للحرارة لتصنيع عينات وهي الايبوكسي وخليط الايبوكسي – البولي يوريثان وبالنسب :-.
(PU10%+EP 90% ) (PU 20%+EP80%) (PU40%+EP60%) وعينات من النسب السابقة مدعمة بالالياف الزجاجية بشكل حصيرة مرة والياف متقطعة عشوائية مرة اخرئ وذلك.لغرض دراسة خواصها الميكانيكية (الصلادة والشد).اجري اختبار الصلادة (Hardness Test) وحسبت وكانت للمادة المتراكبة الهجينة المدعمة بالالياف الزجاجية بشكل حصيرة اعلئ و وتليها الالياف القصيرةالمقطعة واخيرا الخليط بدون تدعيم وكانت الصلادة تقل بزيادة درجة الحرارة .(20و30و40)م .
اما الاختبار الثاني فهو اختبار الشد (Tensile Test) من منحنيات (قوة- استطالة) للنماذج كافة وجد ان المادة المتراكبة الهجينة المدعمة بالالياف الزجاجية بشكل حصيرة تمتلك اعلئ اجهاد شد وتليها المادة المتراكبة الهجينة المدعمة بالالياف المقطعة واخيرا الخليط بدون تدعيم بالالياف .واظهرت النتائج انه كلما زادت نسبة البولي يوريثان المضافة الئ الايبوكسي كلما اصبحت الخلطة اكثر مرونة وكلما ادئ الئ التقليل من متانتها ومن ثم يقلل الاجهاد المتطلب لكسر العينة

Two Types of thermostting polymers were used for specimens preparation in this research of epoxy resin and epoxy –polyurethane with ratios below:- (10%PU+90%EP),(20%PU+80%EP)and(40%PU+60%EP)
and samples from the those rates reinforced with fiber glass in a mat and intermittent random fiber.It has been found that the hardness of the hybrid composite material which is reinforced by fiber glass in with a mat form has been higher and followed by thechopped fiber then the mixture without reinforcement .Also ,the hardness becomes less with the increase of temperature(20,30,40) ◦ С .
It has been found that the curves of force-extension of all samples the hybrid,composite material which is reinforced by fiber glass with a mat form has had the highest stress of tensile and followed by the hybrid,composite material reinforced by choppedfiber ,then the mixture without reinforcement.the Resuits showed that the more the increase in polyurethane ratio addded to Epoxy the more elasticity the blend will become and the more the decrease in its toughness and as aresult the stress required to break the specimens is decreased.
