الملخص العربي
تكمن أهمية البحث في محاولة معاجلة موضوع تلوث البيئة الذي يوثر على الانسان بصورة عامة وعلى التنمية الاجتماعية والاقتصادية خاصة ولان العراق من البلدان النفطية والصناعية وكذلك من البلدان التي تعتمد في توفير الكهرباء على المولدات المنتشرة في المناطق السكنية حيث يعاني من تدهور انتاج الطاقة الكهربائية الوطنية واعتماده على المولدات )الديزل ( التي تعتبر السبب الرئيسي في تلوث الهواء وكذلك يعاني من تلوث التربة وانتشار التصحر بسبب قلة مناسيب مياه نهري دجلة والفرات اذ انخفض منسوب نهري دجلة والفرات نحو 40% بسبب انشاء السدود على هذين النهرين من قبل تركيا مثل مشروع الغاب وسد أليسو مما ادى الى ارتفاع الملوحة والملوثات في مياه نهري دجلة والفرات التي تعتبر المصدرالرئيسي للمياه في هذا البلد وخروج 72 ألف دونم من الزراعة ،مما يجب توفر حلول للحد من تلك الاثار ومعالجتها لذلك هدف البحث الى التعرف على واقع البيئة العراقية وأهم التحديات التي تمر بها وكذلك الكشف عن الجهود المبذولة لمعالجة مسلة البيئة العراقية ودراسة بعض العوامل
(الجغرافية البشرية والطبيعية ) التي تؤدي إلى نقل ونشر هذه الملوثات
