This study aims to clarify the mechanization of technology transfer to developing countries through foreign direct investment, while emphasizing the key factors contributing to its success. To fully understand these factors, it is necessary to illustrate a very successful experience in this area, ich
is that of China.
The results of the study, show that the transfer of technology to developing countries, requires a major effort on its part, particularly, with regard of the improvement of absorption and assimilation capacities by the human factor. Existence of clear policies and incentives for FDI on the diffusion of technology and the improvement of research and development activities.
