يعد حوض وادي كورده ره احد نظم الوديان الموسمية الجريان في مناطق شرق محافظة ديالى في العراق, تجري فيه المياه في فترات قصيرة ومتقطعة تعقب سقوط الامطار في الجهات الواقعة شرق نهر ديالى, ويصب كورده ره في بحيرة حمرين من الطرف الجنوبي الشرقي للبحيرة. وضع نموذج جيومورفولوجي للخصائص المورفومترية وعلاقاتها المتداخلة فيما بينها بالاضافة الى ارتباطها بالظروف الطبيعية في الحوض, وتم تطبيق هذا النموذج في حوض كورده ره والاحواض الثانوية التابعة له

The Wadi Kurdah Rh basin is one of the flowing seasonal valley systems in the areas east of Diyala Governorate in Iraq, in which water runs in short and intermittent periods following the rain fall in the regions east of the Diyala River, and the Kurdah Rh is flowing into Lake Hamrin from the southeastern end of the lake.Geomorphological model for morphometric properties and their interrelated relationships in addition to their relation to the natural conditions in the basin were developed. This model was applied in the Kurdah Rh basin and its secondary basins
