هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على معوقات تطبيق إدارة الجودة الشاملة بجامعة شقراء من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس. إضافة إلى اقتراح الحلول والتوصيات اللازمة لمعالجتها، ولتحقيق هذه الأهداف تم إعداد استبانة تكونت من (39) فقرة توزعت إلى أربعة مجالات وطُبّقت على عینة من (100) عضو هيئة تدريس. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى أن معوقات تطبيق إدارة الجودة الشاملة في جامعة كانت في جميع محاور الدراسة الرئيسة (العملية التعليمية – البحث العلمي – خدمة المجتمع). كما توصلت الدراسة إلى إن العلاقة بين معوقات تطبيق الجودة الشاملة والعوامل الشخصية للدراسة تتمثل في الارتباط الجزئي بين بعض العناصر مثل العمر والمستوى التعليمي، وعدم الارتباط في العناصر الأخرى. وأوصت الدراسة بمعالجة المعوقات التي تؤثر على تطبيق الجودة الشاملة في العملية التعليمية، والبحث العلمي، وخدمة المجتمع، والعمل على نشر ثقافة الجودة الشاملة بين أعضاء هيئة التدريس.

The objective of this study was to identify the obstacles to implement the Total Quality Management (TQM) at Shaqra University from the point of view of the faculty members. It also suggests the necessary solutions and recommendations to address them. To achieve these objectives, a survey questionnaire was prepared consisting of (39) paragraphs divided into four fields and applied to a sample of (100) faculty member. The study found that the obstacles to the TQM implementation in the university were in all the main areas of the study (educational process, scientific research, community service). It also found that there is a partial correlation regarding relationship between the obstacles to the TQM implementation and the personal factors of the study such as age and educational level while there is a lack of correlation in the other elements. The study recommended addressing the obstacles that affect the TQM implementation in the educational process, scientific research, community service, and work on spreading the culture of TQM among the faculty members.
