يتناول البحث التوجهات التعليمية والبحثية في قسم التاريخ في كليتي الآداب والتربية وإيجاد الفرق بين تلك التوجهات في القسمين من خلال دراسة المواد الدراسية في كلا القسمين ومقارنتها الواحدة بالأخرى للوصول إلى نتيجة تمكننا من تحديد مسار كل قسم .
والمراد من ذلك هو الوصول إلى نتيجة واحدة هي هل أن عنوان كل كلية ينطبق مع ما تأسست من أجله أي هل أن المواد الدراسية في قسم التاريخ بكلية الآداب تنسجم واختصاص الكلية العام وهو تخريج باحثين ، والحال نفسه ينطبق على كلية التربية ، أي هل أن المواد الدراسية التي تُدرس فيها تخرج مدرسين أم لا .
كما سيركز البحث على الموازنة بين المواد الدراسية في المراحل الأربع ، فضلاً عن تناول بحوث تخرج الطلبة ودراسة توجهاتها العلمية ومقارنتها مع بحوث طلبة قسم التاريخ في كلية التربية ، أي هل ركزت تلك البحوث على التاريخ الإسلامي أم الحديث أم القديم أم هناك موازنة في ذلك وبالتالي الوصول إلى نتائج عدة تؤدي إلى فك الترابط بين القسمين .
وفي ختام البحث تم التوصل إلى عدة نتائج يمكن الإفادة منها في تطوير التوجهات التعليمية والبحثية في الكليتين ، سواء تلك المتعلقة بالموازنة بين المواد الدراسية في السنوات الأربع ، أو في تحديد اتجاه المتخرج من كل كلية وإيجاد فرص لخريج الآداب تساوي تلك الممنوحة لخريج التربية بعد تخرجه من خلال التعيين في المدارس التابعة لوزارة التربية ، تلك الفرص تتمثل بفتح عدد من مراكز البحوث الخاصة بفروع التاريخ المختلفة ليتم فيها استيعاب الأعداد الكبيرة من الخريجين الذين سيجدوا في تلك المراكز ما يحقق رغباتهم ويرفع من معنويات من سيتبعهم في الدراسة .
ونتيجة أخرى هي إضافة مواد تتعلق بتخصص طالب كلية الآداب (باحث) تعزز مادة منهج البحث التاريخي خلال سنوات البكالوريوس كالتي تُعطى كتخصص تدريس في كلية التربية كمواد طُرق تدريس وعلم نفس وغيرها .

The research deals with the educational and research orientations in the Department of History in the Faculty of Arts and Education and find the difference between these trends in the two sections by studying the subjects in both sections and comparing them to each other to reach a result that enables us to determine the course of each department.
What is meant by this is the fact that the title of each faculty applies with what was established for it, ie, is the study material in the Department of History at the Faculty of Arts consistent with the competence of the General College, which is the graduation of researchers, and the same applies to the Faculty of Education, Where teachers are taught or not.
The research will focus on the balance between the subjects in the four stages, as well as dealing with graduate students' research and study their scientific orientations and compare them with the research of the students of the Department of History at the Faculty of Education, ie, did these researches focus on Islamic history or modern or old, Results in several disconnects between the two sections.
At the conclusion of the research, several results were reached which could be used to develop educational and research orientations in the kidneys, whether those related to the balance of subjects in the four years, or to determine the direction of graduates of each faculty and to create opportunities for graduates of the arts equivalent to those granted to the graduate of education after graduating from During the appointment in schools affiliated to the Ministry of Education, these opportunities are the opening of a number of research centers for different branches of history to accommodate the large numbers of graduates who will find in those centers to achieve their desires and raise the morale of those who will follow them in the study.
