إن تأسيس جمعية العلماء المسلمين الجزائريين كان لها تأثير كبير في كل مناطق الجزائر، خاصة منطقة الجلفة التي لم تكن على معزل من الوقائع والأحداث التي مرت بها الجزائر، فنجد بأنها لعبت دورا مهما هي الأخرى في مساندة التيار الإصلاحي وذلك عن طريق التفاعل مع كل ما جاء به من مبادئ وأهداف لها أهمية بالغة في تغيير واقع المجتمع الجزائري والأوضاع التي يعيش فيها، والعمل على تحقيقها وإنجاحها بكل الوسائل الممكنة من قبل أبناء المنطقة بالرغم من كل الظروف الصعبة التي كانوا يمرون بها.
لقد برز دور أبناء منطقة الجلفة الفعال في دعم النشاط التعليمي بالمنطقة وفق مبادئ وأهداف جمعية العلماء المسلمين وعن طريق إشرافها وتوجيهها المستمر بتأسيس النوادي الثقافية مثل النادي الإسلامي بالجلفة وذلك من أجل محاربة كل المفاسد التي انتشرت في المجتمع، والعمل على تزويد الناس بمختلف المعارف والعلوم وتقديم النصح لهم وتعليمهم كل ما ينفعهم ويحسن مستواهم.
ولقد تجسد عمل شباب منطقة الجلفة بشكل جدي خاصة في توحدهم من أجل إنشاء النادي الإسلامي وتعميره بالدروس والمحاضرات العلمية، ووضع قوانين يسير عليها، وكان الرئيس الذي يشرف عليه هو السيد حران عبد الرحمان الخياط، وقد تعددت مهام النادي الإسلامي منها: السعي لدى الحكومة بالطرق المشروعة من أجل أن تسمح لها بالتدريس وتمتين الروابط وبث روح الإخاء والنهضة بين جميع المسلمين الجزائريين.

The establishment of the Association of Algerian Muslim Scholars has had a great impact in all regions of Algeria, especially Djelfa, which was not isolated from the facts and events experienced by Algeria. We find that they also played an important role in supporting the reformist movement by interacting with all its principles and objectives which are of great importance in changing the reality of Algerian society and the conditions in which people live. It is working to realize and achieve these principles by all means possible by the people of the region despite all the difficult circumstances they were going through.
The active role of the people of Djelfa region has emerged in supporting the educational activity there in accordance with the principles and objectives of the Association of Muslim Scholars and through its continuous supervision and guidance in the establishment of cultural clubs such as the Islamic Club in Djelfa. This is in order to fight all the evils that have spread in the community, to provide people with varied knowledge, science, and to advice and teach them everything that benefits and improves their level.
The work of the youth of the Djelfa region was particularly serious in uniting them for the establishment of the Islamic Club, the delivery of the lessons and scientific lectures, and the law-making. The President, who supervised it, Mr. Harran Abdul Rahman Al-Khayat, has multiple tasks of the Islamic Club, including the pursuit of the government by legitimate means in order to allow it to teach and spread the spirit of brotherhood and renaissance among all Algerian Muslims.
