The city is one of the unique creations of human civilization built to provide services; health and comfort. However, uncontrolled urban growth has given rise to some anonymous and unpleasant images of cities among the area units that have underused, abandoned, or deserted urban areas. The public area in cities represents social life and facilitates group interactions; the lack of social contact moves the pubic environment from waste to neglected areas. Missing urban area results in the separation of urban fabric, which creates unstructured landscapes at intervals of the urban fabric of the city. Also, the area lost in urban fabric is an unrecognized region of land that needs to be redesigned; its importance springs from its ability to invigorate and connect its near urban context.
The purpose of this study is to resolve the loss of area by evaluating the areas included in the urban fabric of the recent town of the urban centre by examining those areas in line with the vitality factors of the region and, therefore, the magnitude of the loss. Such parameters are extracted from the literature on this field to consider the proportions of urban fabric that have been structurally altered over time and used in ignored, abandoned or damaged areas. It was achieved by a series of methods, along with the extrapolation of the schemes and data collected from the direct observation of the usage of these areas to determine their contribution to urban enrichment.
