هذا الكتاب يأتي نتيجة دعوة المحدثين إلى الاتجاه للشعر الجاهلى موجِّهًا لها ، وبخاصة أستاذي الدكتور محمد حماسة ، حيث إنَّه قد رفع صوته بالدعوة إلى التوجُّه إلى الشِّعر القديم ، وكَشْف بناء جمله وتراكيبه ، فالاعتماد على بناء جمل الشِّعر في دراسة النَّص وتفسيره - على حدِّ قوله - لا محيد عنه ولا بديل له لمَن يريد أنْ يقدِّم دراسةً نصيةً مقنعةً ، وذلك في كتابه بناء الجملة العربية ، أضف إلي ذلك ما ورد في كتابه " اللُّغة وبناء الشِّعر "، واتّخذتُ أيضًا من شعر الأعشى مجالاً للتطبيق ؛ لأنَّه يعدُّ شاعرًا نجديًّا جاهليًّا من الشِّعراء الحُجج المجيدين.

This book comes as a result of a call to the moderns to turn to pre-Islamic poetry, directing it, especially my professor Dr. Muhammad Hamsa, as he raised his voice by calling to turn to ancient poetry and uncovering the structure of its sentences and combinations, so relying on building sentences of poetry in studying and interpreting the text - as he said - There is no deviation from it and there is no substitute for him who wants to present a convincing textual study, in his book The Syntax of the Arabic Syntax, I add to that what was mentioned in his book “The Language and the Building of Poetry”, and I also took Al-Asha's poetry as a field of application; Because he is considered an ignorant Najdi poet, one of the good Hajj poets.
