● جاءت هذه الدراسة إثر التحولات الحاصلة في الاتصالات العلمية التي مست جميع الباحثين والعلماء والأكاديميين وأدت إلى تغيير الروئ والاستراتيجيات في الجامعات والمؤسسات البحثية، بما في ذلك الأدوار التي تلعبها المكتبات الأكاديمية ،وتبنيها لحركة الوصول الحر للمعلومات التي تفتح قنوات بديلة للنشر العلمي التقليدي للأبحاث والدراسات الأكاديمية،
ومن أهم هذه القنوات نجد المستودعات المؤسساتية التي تكاد تصبح محركا للتغيير في مؤسسات التعليم العالي والأكاديمي، وعلى نطاق أوسع للمؤسسات التي تدعمها. إنما أريد بهذه الدراسة هو تبيان الهدف الأساسي التي تقوم عليه والذي يتمثل في تجميع المصادر الإلكترونية وتوفير إمكانية نشرها والوصول إليها وضمان جودتها، كما أن هذه المستودعات في حد ذاتها تعتبر مصادر إلكترونية ثانوية تسهم في الوصول إلى المصادر الأولية المودعة فيها.حيث تهتم بالمحتوى العربي والإنتاج الفكري الموجود على الشبكة بشكل عام والعمل على إتاحته داخل قواعد معطيات منظما أو مستودعات مؤسساتية تابعة لمراكز بحوث وطنية بشكل خاص، وتقييم مصادر المعلومات علميا لأنها تدعم البحث العلمي خاصة بدولة الجزائر التي تعاني من نقص كبير في الميزانية والموارد المالية المخصصة لقطاع البحث
● وتم التطرق إلى المستودع المؤسساتي لجامعة محمد بوقرة بومرداس (UMBB) كنموذج لمستودع خاص بالأرشيف الرقمي، والذي يحوي الإنتاج العلمي لجامعة بومرداس، وهو فضاء لحفظ الأعمال الأكاديمية والباحثين والأساتذة، وتؤكد هذه المداخلة على أن السبيل الأمثل لوضع وتزويد مستودعات الأرشيفات المفتوحة حاليا في الجزائر هو المستودعات المؤسساتية وتشيد النداء إلى وضع الجامعات في صميم التنمية الإقتصادية للبلاد من خلال إنناج ونشر المعرفة والتمكن من التكنولوجيا وتشجيع البحث والتطوير...

This study came as a result of the shifts in scientific communication that affected all researchers, scientists and academics, and led to a change of vision and strategies in universities and research institutions, including the roles played by academic libraries, and their adoption of the movement of free access to information that opens alternative channels for the traditional scientific publishing of research and academic studies. ,
Among the most important of these channels we find institutional repositories that are almost becoming an engine for change in higher education and academic institutions, and on a larger scale for the institutions that support them. Rather, I want in this study to clarify the main objective upon which it is based, which is to collect electronic resources, provide the possibility of publishing them, access them, and ensure their quality, as these warehouses in themselves are considered secondary electronic sources that contribute to accessing the primary sources deposited in them. The intellectual presence on the network in general and work to make it available within organized databases or institutional repositories belonging to national research centers in particular, and to evaluate scientific information sources because they support scientific research, especially in Algeria, which suffers from a significant shortage of budget and financial resources allocated to the research sector
● The institutional repository of the University of Mohamed Bougara Boumerdes (UMBB) was discussed as a model for a special repository for the digital archive, which contains the scientific production of the University of Boumerdes, which is a space for the preservation of academic works, researchers and professors. This intervention emphasizes that the best way to develop and supply the archives repositories currently open in Algeria is Institutional repositories and the appeal to place universities at the heart of the country's economic development through the creation and dissemination of knowledge, mastery of technology, and the encouragement of research and development .
