مقدمة المترجم: تشكل هذه المقالة فصلا من كتاب "الأنثروبولوجيا للجميع" (Anthropologie pour tous) الذي صدر سنة 2015 وضم مجموعة مداخلات لأبرز الأنثربولوجيين الفرنسيين في ملتقى نظمته الجمعية الفرنسية "الأنثروبولوجيا للجميع" في "أوبرفيلييه" في 6 حوان 2015 وأشرف عليه جون لويك لوكيلاك، وهذا الفصل حول علم الأساطير كتبه برنارد سارجان مؤرخ ومقارن فرنسي من مواليد 1946، باحث في المركز الوطني للبحث العلمي في باريس، ورئيس الجمعية الفرنسية لعلم الأساطير، وقد حاول سارجان في هذا الفصل شرح مبادئ علم الأساطير ومناهجه ومدارسه بطريقة بسيطة وسهلة ومفهومة للجميع، لهذا قررنا إتاحته للقارئ العربي تعميما للفائدة.

Translator's introduction: This article constitutes a chapter from the book "Anthropologie pour tous", which was published in 2015 and included a group of interventions by the most prominent French anthropologists at a forum organized by the French Association "Anthropology for All" in "Aubervilliers" on 6 June 2015 and supervised by John Luic Lucillac This chapter on mythology was written by Bernard Sargan, a French historian and comparative, born in 1946, a researcher at the National Center for Scientific Research in Paris, and president of the French Society for Mythology. In this chapter, Sargan tried to explain the principles of mythology, its methods and schools in a simple, easy and understandable way for everyone. We decided to make it available to the Arab reader, a circular for the benefit.
