مرجع ذا أهمية بالغة للباحثين التربويين والأكاديميين العرب، فيما يتعلق بشأن البحوث العلمية في مجال الإدارة التربوية، وإجراءاتها المنهجية، تلك التي تتكامل بتكامل المعرفة العلمية، وفي اطار من المنهجية والموضوعية.
ويهدف إلى دعم النظرية بالتطبيق الإجرائي في مجال البحث التربوي، حيث يتناول مدخلاً إلى البحث العلمي، يتضمن بين طياته الحديث عن أهداف البحث التربوي: أنواعه، مجالاته، ومعايير وضوابط اختيار موضوعاته، لينتقل إلى آليات التطبيق المنهجي، من خلال التطرق إلى خطوات المنهجية العلمية، وأهم مناهج البحث العلمي، وأدوات جمع البيانات في مجاله.
وفي إطار دعم قدرات الباحث وتنمية مهاراته الأدائية، يعرض الإجراءات المنهجية في كتابة تقارير البحوث التربوية بصفة عامة، وفي مجال الإدارة التربوية بصفة خاصة، وما تطلبه ذلك من طرح بعض القضايا المتنوعة حول أسلوب الكتابة، والاقتباس، والتوثيق العلمي، ونظم الحواشي والفهرسة.
وقد تم تذييله بمجموعة من الملاحق التي لا غنى عنها للباحث، كبعض مواد القوانين والتشريعات الخاصة بالقيد والتسجيل ومنح الدرجات العلمية، وبعض الرموز والمختصرات التي يكثر استخدامها في البحث العلمي، وعلامات الترقيم واستخداماتها، وطرق الكشف في المعاجم اللغوية، وقوائم بموضوعات الرسائل العلمية التي تم إجازتها في مجاله ببضع جامعات مصرية، بما يسهم في دعم الممارسات الأدائية لدى الباحث، ومن ثم تطوير الأساليب المنهجية في كتابة البحوث العلمية في مجال الإدارة التربوية.
