يُلقى هذا البحث الضوء على أسباب الخلل في ضبط الراوي، والمتمثلة بعدة أمور من أهمها الغفلة، والاختلاط، وانشغاله عن الرواية، وعَدم صَونِ الكتاب أو الأُصول عن العَبث والتَّحريف كتلاعب الورَّاقين والمُحيطين بالمحُدِّث بأصولهِ، واعتماد المُحدِّث على حِفظهِ من غير كتابٍ، وما يفعله بعض المحدثين من جمع للأسانيد من غير تمييز للمتن الواحد، وغيرها من الأسباب، مما ينتج عنه أنواع عديدة من الأحاديث، كالحديث الحسن، والشاذ، والمقلوب، والمصحَّف، والمدرج، والمضطرب، كما يلقي الضوء على مفهوم الضبط عند المحدثين، وأنواعه، ووسائل معرفته، وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى أنَّ الضبط نوعان، ضبط صدر وذلك بإثبات ما سمعه الراوي واستحضاره متى شاء، وضبط كتاب وذلك بصونه عن تطرق الخلل إليه، وأن الضبط ركن أصيل من أركان الرواية، والخلل فيها يؤدي غالبًا إلى عدم الاحتجاج بها، مما يؤكد على دقَّة منهج المحدثين في نقد ضبط الرجال حمايةً للسنة النبوية، يتحقق ضبط الراوي بكونه متيقظاً غير مغفل، حافظًا إن حدَّث من حفظه، ضابطًا لكتابه من التبديل والتغيير، عالمًا بما يحيل المعنى.

This paper sheds light on the reasons of the narrator’s inconsistency in (narrations) verification as highlighted in some issues such as (narrator’s) inattentiveness, confusion, inconsistent transmission, text manipulation in the narrators’ books by the scribe [copier], the trustee [book keeper], the son, the neighbor, or disregarding the book (by the author narrator),...etc. such issues may result in many types of Hadith such as the Good Hadith, Irregular (unpopular) Hadith, Inverted (Maqlub) Hadith, Musahhaf Hadith (reported from books), Mudraj Hadith [includes words from the prophet and the narrator),...etc. In addition, highlighting such issues may also clarify the concept of Verification for Hadith Scholars, it’s types, and means of attainment. The study concluded that. Verification is a major pillar of Narration, and that inconsistency in verification mostly renders the narration unverifiable. This, in turn, emphasizes the scrutiny of Hadith Scholars in critiquing the Verification of Narrators to protect the Prophetic Traditions.
