الجودة وضمانها في التعليم أصبحت محط أنظار وتفكير الكثير من المهتمين والباحثين في التعليم وأكدت أهميته العشرات المؤتمرات والندوات الدولية التي تبحث عن المفاهيم والآليات والإجراءات التي يتم من خلالها تأصيل الجودة في العملية التعليمية، ويعتبر أبن خلدون أول من استخدم مفهوم الجودة في التعليم من خلال تأصيل الفكر التعليمي بمعايير محددة تساعد في عملية تقييم وتقويم التعليم، التى تساهم بدورها في إرساء الجودة بغية تحقيق أهداف المجتمع التنموية، حيث يقول " وعلى قدر جودة التعليم وملكة المعلم يكون حذق المتعلم في الصناعة وحصول ملكته"، بالتالي تنبع أهمية هذه الورقة كونها ترسم لنا صورة واضحة المعالم عن تأثير ابن خلدون في تأصيل مفهوم ومعايير الجودة وضمانها في التعليم. كما تهدف الورقة إلى تحديد طبيعة الإسهام الحقيقي الذي أضافه ابن خلدون إلى الجودة وضمانها في التعليم ، وتحديد معالم رؤيته المتكاملة ، ودوها في ضمان جودة التعليم، وتحديد أهم المعايير التى انتهاجها نحو تصفير مشكلات التعليم. كما تهدف الورقة إلى محاولة الربط بين ما دعا إليه ابن خلدون من ضرورة اتباع معايير واضحة ومحددة في التعليم لتحقيق ضمان الجودة وبين ما تدعو إليه معايير الجودة وضمانها حديثا. في حين يطرح الباحث عدة تساؤلات عن الجودة وضمانها عند ابن خلدون، والآليات والمعايير التى اتبعها ابن خلدون للحافظ على معايير الجودة وضمانها في التعليم.

Quality and guarantee in education has become the focus of attention and the thinking of many interested and researchers in education and stressed the importance of dozens of international conferences and seminars that look for concepts and mechanisms and procedures by which to root quality in the educational process, and Ibn Khaldun first used the concept of quality in education through the rooting of thought Educational standards that help in the process of assessment and evaluation of education, which contributes to the establishment of quality in order to achieve the goals of the development community, where he says, "and the quality of education and the queen of the teacher be educated and educated in the industry and ownership. The importance of this paper stems from the fact that it gives us a clear picture of Ibn Khaldun's influence in establishing and guaranteeing the concept and quality standards in education. The paper also aims to determine the nature of the real contribution that Ibn Khaldun has added to quality and its guarantee in education, to define its integrated vision, to ensure the quality of education, and to identify the most important criteria for solving educational problems.
