هذا البحث قراءة فنية بلاغية لميمية المرقش الأصغر، وهي إحدى القصائد الجاهلية القديمة نسبيا، وشاعرها من قدامى الشعراء الجاهليين، وفي شعره روح الزمان، وعبق المكان، وقد وُصِفَ بأنه أشهر عشاق العرب وفرسانهم. وتكمن أهمية القصيدة في جانبين؛ الأول: في بنائها الفني، واتسام مفرداتها بالصلابة، وتماسك تراكيبها، ومعانيها الفخمة، وجاء موضوعها الغزلي في نمطها الخاص المغاير للقصائد الجاهلية الطوال. والثاني في ارتباطها ببيئتها، وتمثيلها للفترة الزمنية التي قيلت فيها، ولصوقها بطبيعة شاعرها. حيث كانت الفكرة الرئيسة فيها هي لوم الذات والندم نتيجة خيانة المحبوب، وقد جعل الشاعر من ذاته مخاطبا معنيا بخطابه، فثمة عاطفة عارمة تسيطر على بنية نص القصيدة في شقه الشعوري، بينما أتى الجانب الفكري مشتتا على مساحات النص، وممتزجا بالحكمة وتجارب الحياة، مرتسما فيه منحىً عقلي مع مشاعر الحب، وسذاجة العلاقات وفطريتها بين المحبين في ذلك العصر.

This research is a rhetorical study of the disciples of the smaller Al-Marqash, which is one of the relatively ancient pre-Islamic poems, and the poet of the ancient pre-Islamic poets, and in his poetry the spirit of time and the fragrance of the place, has been described as the most famous Arab lovers and their knights. The importance of the poem lies in two aspects. The first is in its artistic construction, its vocabulary is solid, the consistency of its structures, and its luxurious meanings. Its flirtatious theme came in its own style that contrasts with the long pre-Islamic poems.
The second is in its relation to its environment, its representation stops the time in which it was said, and its affinity with the nature of its poet. Where the main idea was to blame the self and regret the betrayal of the beloved, and the poet made himself an addressee concerned with his speech,There is a strong emotion that dominates the structure of the text of the poem in the emotional apartment, while the intellectual side came dispersed over the areas of the text, mixed with wisdom and life experiences, setting a mental trend in it with feelings of love , and the naivety of relationships and their innateness among the lovers of that era.
