يحكي هذا البحث عرضَ مناهجِ العلماء وطرائقِهم في إزالة التعارض الظاهري الذي قد يرد على الأحاديث المتعددة والروايات المختلفة في الحادثة الواحدة، وجعلناه يدور حول ما جاء في مرويات إسلام أبي العاص بن وائل وزواجه من زينب بنت النبي ، وتتبعنا مسالك العلماء في الجمع بين مرويات هذه الحادثة وبيان من قال بالنسْخ أو الترجيح، على ما تراه مبثوثًا في هذا البحث.

This research shows the methodologies of scholars and their methods to remove the apparent contradiction which may be found in the multiplicity of hadiths and different narratives in one incident.
The research studies the narrations of the incident of converting to Islam of Abu Al-Aas bin Wael and his marriage to Zainab the daughter of Prophet Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) by exploring the methods of scholars in making a compromise between the narratives of this incident, and also clarifying the scholars who said in abrogation (naskh) or weighting (Tarjih).
