بيّنت هذه الورقة أن اختلاف المفسرين في تفسير "السلطان" على ما يقارب العشرين قولاً، مع اختلافهم في معنى النفوذ، ومتى؟ وهل ممكن للبشر؟ ولاحظ الباحث، ثانياً، أن الإنسان قد استطاع بلوغ أقطار الأرض سطحيا لكن ليس في الأعماق، لأنه غير ممكن حاليا بسبب الحرارة والضغط العاليين جدا، وهذا لا يمنع من الإمكان: غير أن بلوغ البشر الى القمر لا يعني خرقا لأقطار السماء الدنيا أو الأولى فضلا عن السماوات السبع، ناهيك بأن عمر الانسان القصير يظل عقبة كأداء في سبيل تحقيق آماله وأمانيه وأحلامه الوردية في تجاوز تلك الأقطار؛ كما أن الرياح الشمسية تمنع وصول الانسان بمكوكه الفضائي من التقرب منها وإليها.. لذا انتهينا إلى أن "السلطان" معناه يجمع بين العلم والقدرة والقوة، لكن على وجه الخصوصية بحيث لا تكون ولن تكون لكل أحد من البشر، بل ليس في مقدور كل البشر ومعهم الجنّ أن يمتلكوا ذلك السلطان استنادا إلى القرآن الكريم في سورة الرحمن فضلا عن حقائق العلم المعاصر، ولكن قد خص الله سبحانه وتعالى نبيه محمد ﷺ بهذا السلطان في معجزة المعراج إلى السماء.
