هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على مدى تضمن محتوى منهج الجغرافيا للصف الأول الثانوي بالجمهورية اليمنية لمفاهيم الكوارث الطبيعية، ولتحقيق ذلك أعد الباحث قائمة بمفاهيم الكوارث الطبيعية وتحليل محتوى كتاب الجغرافيا للصف الأول الثانوي في ضوئها بعد تحكيمها وتحويلها إلى استمارة تحليل، مستخدماً وحدة الكلمة في التحليل، وأوضحت النتائج أن مفاهيم البراكين كانت الأكثر تضميناً يليها مفاهيم الزلازل، ثم مفاهيم العواصف والأعاصير، ثم مفاهيم الانهيارات الأرضية، وفي الأخير مفاهيم السيول والفيضانات.

The study aimed to identify the extent to which the geography curriculum content for the first grade of secondary school in the Republic of Yemen included the concepts of natural disasters, and to achieve this, the researcher prepared a list of the concepts of natural disasters and analyzed the content of the geography book for the first secondary grade in light of it after being judged and transformed into an analysis form, using the word unit in the analysis. The results are that the concepts of volcanoes were the most inclusive, followed by the concepts of earthquakes, then concepts of storms and hurricanes, then concepts of landslides, and finally the concepts of torrents and floods.
