يهدف البحث الحالي الكشف عن استخدامات طلاب جامعة بيشة لوسائل التواصل الاجتماعي ودرجة تأثيرها على أمنهم الفكري من وجهة نظرهم، وتعرّف وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي الأكثر استخداماً عند الطلاب. استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي ، كما تمّ بناء أداة الاستبانة لجمع المعلومات الميدانية للإجابة عن أسئلة البحث وقد طبق البحث على عينة عشوائية من الطلاب بلغت (500) طالباً، وقد خرج البحث بعدة نتائج منها: - جميع الطلاب عينة البحث يستخدمون وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي بفعالية. -تعد وسيلة الواتساب من وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي الأكثر استخداماً عند الطلاب عينة البحث تليها تويتر ثم الفيس بوك. - تم استخدام وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي بغرض: التواصل الاجتماعي، والتسلية والترفيه، والثقافة العامة، والأخبار والمعلومات، والمعرفة العلمية. - وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي ذات تأثير على الأمن الفكري لدى الطلاب بدرجة متوسطة. كما خرج البحث بعدة توصيات ومقترحات تساعد في دعم التوعية بالمخاطر الاجتماعية والأخلاقية الناجمة عن الاستخدام السلبي لوسائل التواصل الاجتماعي منها: نشر الوعي لدى الطلاب بضرورة الاستفادة من وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي بشكل إيجابي عن طريق المحاضرات والمنشورات وكذلك عن طريق وسائل التواصل نفسها. وتعريفهم بتأثيرها السلبي الواضح على أفراد المجتمع وخاصة فئة الشباب.

Abstract
The current research aims to reveal the uses of Bisha University students for social media and the degree of their impact on their intellectual security from their point of view, and to identify the most used social media among students. The researcher used the descriptive approach, and the questionnaire tool was built to collect field information to answer the research questions. The research was applied to a random sample of students amounting to (500) students, and the research came out with several results, including:
- All students in the research sample use social media effectively. - What's App is one of the most used social media for students, the sample is followed by Twitter and Facebook- .Social media was used for the purpose of: social media, entertainment and entertainment, general culture, news and information, and scientific knowledge. - Social media has an effect on students' intellectual security, to an average degree.
The research also came out with several recommendations and proposals that help support awareness of the social and moral risks arising from the negative use of social media, including: Spreading awareness among students about the necessity of benefiting from social media positively through lectures and publications, as well as through the means of communication themselves. And introduce them to its negative impact on society, especially the youth
