يهدف البحث الى معرفة الآثار السلبية لجائحة كورونا على المؤشرات الاقتصادية للتنمية المستدامة ولا سيما في ظل الصدمات التي يعيشها الاقتصاد العراقي. وتم التوصل الى مجموعة من الاستنتاجات أهمها انخفاض الناتج المحلي الإجمالي بنسبة (22%) عما كان عليه قبل الجائحة. كما انخفض نصيب الفرد من الناتج المحلي الإجمالي اثناء جائحة كورونا الى (4483) دولار، في حين كان قبل الجائحة (5883) دولار. فضلاً عن ارتفاع نسبة المديونية العراقية الى الناتج المحلي الإجمالي من (56.27%) قبل الجائحة الى (71.16%) اثناء الجائحة. واختتم البحث بمجموعة من التوصيات أهمها تفعيل دور القطاعات الإنتاجية الأخرى مثل القطاع الزراعي والقطاع الصناعي بهدف تقليل الاعتماد على النفط كمورد رئيس في تمويل الموازنة العامة. فضلاً عن تطوير النظام الضريبي وزيادة فاعليته والسعي لاعتماد سياسات اقتصادية الهدف منها إقامة مشاريع استثمارية بالشراكة مع القطاع الخاص الهدف منها زيادة إنتاجية هذا القطاع ورفد ايرادات الموازنة العامة للدولة. وانشاء صندوق سيادي الهدف منه ادخار الأموال الفائضة في حالة الانتعاش وعدم تبذير هذه الأموال، ومن ثم فإن حدوث أي صدمة مستقبلية يتعرض لها الاقتصاد العراقي من الممكن تخفيف آثارها في حال توفر الأموال الكافية لمواجهتها.

The research aims to know the negative effects of the Corona pandemic on the economic indicators of sustainable development, especially in light of the shocks experienced by the Iraqi economy. A set of conclusions were reached, the most important of which is the decrease in GDP by (22%) than it was before the pandemic. The per capita GDP also decreased during the Corona pandemic to (4,483) dollars, while it was (5883) dollars before the pandemic. In addition to the increase in the Iraqi debt-to-GDP ratio from (56.27%) before the pandemic to (71.16%) during the pandemic. The research concluded with a set of recommendations, the most important of which is activating the role of other productive sectors such as the agricultural sector and the industrial sector, with the aim of reducing dependence on oil as a main resource in financing the general budget. In addition to developing the tax system and increasing its effectiveness, and seeking to adopt economic policies aimed at establishing investment projects in partnership with the private sector, aiming to increase the productivity of this sector and supplement the state's general budget revenues. And the establishment of a sovereign fund aimed at saving surplus funds in the event of recovery and not squandering these funds, and then the occurrence of any future shock to the Iraqi economy can be mitigated by its effects if sufficient funds are available to face it.
