Museum Tourism in Khartoum, Sudan: A Geoinformatics Analysis and Decision Support System

Abstract– This paper proposes and illustrates Geoinformatics decision support informatics and analysis for museum tourism business in Khartoum, Sudan. The motivation to this work is mainly the lack of Geoinformatics information in Sudan and the deep need of this decision and analytical systems to support the tourism sector in the city. The objectives are to build Museum Geo-database, develop museums application, support the analysis of museum data, and evaluate this application. The importance of this work is to support the decision makers in maintaining and developing the tourism industry in the city depending on scientific Geoinformatics data and databases. The results of this work is a comprehensive application that provides Geoinformatics data of the city and provides analysis to this data as required as possible. The further step is to enhance this application and implement it to the whole space of the Sudan.
