شهد هذا العصر انتشارا وذيوعا لفكرة "حوار الحضارات"، وكثُرت النقاشات والجدالات حولها، إلا أنَّها -في الغالب- لم تكن أكثر من رد فعل على مقولة "صدام الحضارات"، التي روّج لها الكاتب الأمريكي "صموئيل هنتجتون"؛ وبالتالي، فإنَّه قد حان الوقت للانعتاق من ربقة ردود الأفعال، إلى تأسيس حقيقي لحوار حضاري جاد وهادف، ينطلق من قاعدة وحدة الإنسانية، ومعتمدا المساواة والندية بين المتحاورين، مع إتاحة حق الحرية الفكرية والدينية.
ومن ثَم فإن هذا البحث قد هدف إلى الـتأصيل النظري، والشرعي، والواقعي له، مع التعرض لآفاقه ومجالاته: الدينية والحضارية والثقافية، من ناحية المفهوم والآفاق والمعوقات، ودور الجامعات والمجتمعات المدنيّة ووسائل الإعلام والدول في الحوار والتحالف، والاهتمام بالتأريخ والنظريات التي تناولته سلبا وإيجابا، مع استخلاص السبل المتاحة لتفعيله وبناء حوار جاد على المستويين الداخلي والخارجي، وتقديم رؤى مبتكرة لحوار حضاري فعال.
الملخص الانجليزي
This era witnessed the spread of the concept of "dialogue of civilizations." Discussions and debates have abounded around this topic. However, it was - for the most part - nothing more than a reaction to the saying "clash of civilizations," which has been promoted by the American writer "Samuel Huntington. Hence, it is time to break free from reactions, to a real foundation of a serious and meaningful civilizational dialogue, starting from the base of the unity of humanity, and adopting equality and equivalence between the debaters, while providing the right of intellectual and religious freedom.
Hence, this research has aimed at the theoretical, legal, and realistic rooting of the "dialogue of civilizations." It also exposes its horizons and fields: religious, civilizational and cultural, in terms of its concept, horizons and constraints. In addition, it deals with the role of universities, civil societies, the media and countries regarding dialogue and alliance. Moreover, it draws attention to history and theories that dealt with it negatively and positively in a way to explore the available means to activate it, build a serious dialogue, both internally and externally, and provide innovative visions of an effective civilizational dialogue.
