تعدّ قضية الفهم والإفهام من القضايا المهمة؛ التي انبرى لها كثير من أهل العلم ليبينوا سبلها، ويوضحوا طرقها، ولعلّ من أعظم الآليات التي لم تحظ باهتمام وعناية، تلك التي تتعلق بالسياق؛ خصوصا ما كان الشأن فيه حديث النبي .
تأتي هذه الرسالة لتعالج ضابطا من ضوابط فهم السنة النبوية، ألا وهو السّياق، موضّحة الأثر البالغ الذي تحدثه هذه الآلية عند عمليّة تفسير النّصوص، إذ لا ينفك المعنى يتجلّى ويتضح -والحال أنّ النّص خاضع لهذه العملية- حتى يسفر عن دلالات لولا السياق لما أُبصرت ولا لاحت، وقد برر البحث أهمية السياق؛ من خلال سرد لأقوال أهل العلم من المحدّثين، والأصوليين، مبرزا مظاهر جمة لاهتمامهم، واعتنائهم به.
والسياق الذي تعنىّ له الباحث بالتتبع والدراسة، هو ذلك الجو اللغوي، والاجتماعي، والثقافي؛ الذي يتمازج مع النّص من حين صدوره إلى أن يستقر في ذهن المتلقي، فلا غرو إذن من الكلام عن السياق اللغوي؛ وما يتصل به، وهكذا السياق المقامي وما يتصل به.
ثم تكلّم البحث عن تلك الفهوم الزّيوف، التي تنكبت هذه الآلية؛ لتنتج لنا ضربا من المعاني والدلالات التي تسمع وتنكر، فأشار إلى بعضٍ من أصحاب المنهج الحداثي، والشأن فيهم حين يمارسون عملية شرح الحديث النبوي، وهكذا الشأن في أصحاب المنهج الظواهري في فهم النصوص.

The notion of understanding and making the idea understandable has always been essential in communicating ; that is certainly why scholars gave much of their time to define its basis and rules. Thus, it is certainly right to declare that one of the structures that did not get the care and the attention needed was that related to the context. And in particular, everything that is linked to the Citations of the Prophet(Peace be upon Him).
This research is emphasizing on the importance of this criteria in the right comprehension of the text. In fact, the meaning can not come clear and visible in its absence; just because the text depends in a tight way on this operation. Any attempt to interpret away from considering the context would not certainly lead to the right result. Here is a long list of declarations made by our scholars of both the Fondamentals ( Ossol) and the Narration (Hadith).
And the context that our study tried to follow and clarify is that of the linguistic, sociological and cultural atmosphere that surrounded the text since its citation until its settlement in the brain of the receiver.
The research mentioned also those fallacious interpretations which deformed this criteria leading to unacceptable results either by those claiming to be the modern reformist current when they interpret the Citations (Hadith) or by the other school of those who regard the text according to its appearance(Dhahiriya)
