حاولت في هذه الدراسة أن أصل إلى مدى اهتمام محمد باي بلعالم التواتي المالكي الجزائري، بكتاب تحفة الآثار لابن القرشي الحسيني السوداني، وإلى منهجه في الشرح، مقدما في ذلك نبذة موجزة عن حياة الشيخ باي بلعالم، ومعرجا على التعريف بكتاب تحفة الآثار، ومبينا كيف اهتم به محمد باي بلعالم، واضعا في ذلك قراءة لمصنفه الذي عالج فيه التحفة؛ من حيث العنوان، والموارد، والمحتوى. والقصد من هذا البحث؛ هو إبراز جهود أئمة المالكية-من خلال الشيخ بلعالم- في اهتمامهم بعلم الحديث، واحتفائهم بما نظم فيه؛ دراسة، وشرحا، وتحريرا، وتهذيبا.

In this study, I tried to reach the extent to which Mohamed Bay is interested in the Algerian scholar Al-Maliki, in the book masterpiece of the son of al-Qurashi al-Husseini al-Sudani, and his method of commentary, providing a brief overview of the life of Sheikh Bay Belalami, and expressing the definition of the book masterpiece of antiquities, showing how Mohamed Bay cared about him in the world, putting in it a reading of his work in which he dealt with the masterpiece, in terms of title, resources, and content. The purpose of this research is to highlight the efforts of the Imams of the Malikis, through Sheikh Belal world, in their interest in the science of hadith, and to celebrate what has been organized;
