يعد النشر العلمي من الأهداف الهامة في حركة التأليف والبحث العلمي في الجامعات، ويقوم بدور أساسي في مجال تبادل العلوم والمعرفة، وجعلها متاحة عالميا لجميع الباحثين والمهتمين. لكن الباحث قد يواجه العديد من الصعوبات في نشر مقالاته وأبحاثه؛ وتنجم هذه الصعوبات عادة من الباحث نفسه الذي يفتقد لرؤية واضحة لمراحل تقديم البحث للنشر، كالاختيار غير الصائب للمجلة العلمية التي ينوي النشر فيها، ومخالفته للضوابط والشروط التي تفرضها للنشر، وعدم ضبط الأخطاء اللغوية والنحوية والإملائية؛ فيكون بذلك الرد بالرفض، ويترتب عليه تعطيل التقدم العلمي والمهني لهذا الباحث.

Scientific publishing is an important goal in the movement of scientific research and writing in universities, and plays a key role in the exchange of science and knowledge, and make it universally available to all researchers and interested. However, the researcher may face many difficulties in publishing his articles and researches, and these difficulties usually result from the researcher himself, who misses to see clearly for stages submitting research for publication, such as the wrong choice of the scientific journal in which it intends to publish, and violating the controls and conditions imposed by the publication, failure to control linguistic, grammatical and spelling errors; the response going to be rejected. It results in disrupting the scientific and professional progress of this researcher.
This paper discusses the difficulties that researchers face in scientific publishing, and indicate the necessary initial arrangements that each researcher must make before submitting a paper for publication in any refereed scientific journal, and identify the proper methods for the correct selection of the appropriate scientific journal for publication.
The paper concludes, a number of conclusions, that peer-reviewed journals publish research that adheres to the journal's publishing rules.
It meets the universally accepted conditions of scientific research, subject to the interests and objectives of the journal; what requires researchers to choose the magazine that best corresponds to the subject of research and objectives, and adhere to the method of publication therein.
