يهدف هذا البحث إلى تسليط الضوء على كتابات عَلَم من أعلام التيار التوفيقي بين الحداثة والتراث البروفيسور عبد الرحمن الحاج الصالح، وتقصّي حقيقة ما إذا كانت كتاباته وآراؤه قد قامت بمهمّتها الأساسية في إجلاء الغموض الذي كان يكتنف الدرس اللساني الحداثي من خلال مزاوجته بالدرس اللغوي القديم؟
والإجابة التي توصّلنا إليها في تضاعيف هذا العمل كشفت عن وجود تناسب عجيب بين الأوضاع النظرية والمنهجية التي امتاز بها الدرس اللغوي القديم وبين الأوضاع العلمية الحديثة ، وهي أوضاع جديرة بالدراسة.
وحتى تتمّ هذه المزاوجة، لابدّ من تمكين الباحث العربي من استثمار المصطلح النحوي والبلاغي وإدماجه في الدرس الحديث لتأسيس لسانيات عربية تمهيدية تسعى إلى عقد حوار وَاعٍ بين الفكر اللغوي القديم واللسانيات الحديثة، والأهمّ من ذلك هو وضع تصوّر جديد للتراث من خلال فتح منافذ إبيستيمية لإدراجهِ في البحث اللساني المعاصر. ويبقى الهدف الأساس هو تحفيز المتلقي العربي على التعاطي مع هذه الكتابات وردم الهوة بين التراث اللغوي والمنجز اللساني الوافد.

This research aims to shed light on the writings of a scholar, one of the flags of the syncretism between modernity and heritage, Professor A. Hajj Saleh, and to investigate whether these writings fulfilled their primary mission of clearing the ambiguity that was surrounding the modernist linguistic lesson by interlacing it with the old linguistic lesson?
The answer we have reached in this work revealed a surprising proportionality between the theoretical and methodological conditions that characterized the old language lesson and the modern scientific conditions, which are worth studying.
In order to achieve this, it is necessary to enable the Arab researcher to invest the grammatical and rhetorical term and integrate it to establish introductory Arabic linguistics that seeks to hold a conscious dialogue between the old linguistic thought and modern linguistics. The main objective remains to motivate the Arab recipient to deal with these writings and to bridge the gap between the linguistic heritage and the incoming linguistic achievement.
