Automation and orchestration are frequently features of configuration management tools. Automation is when a tool uses a system to carry out a task automatically. This could involve setting up a VLAN or configuring an interface. The process of orchestration determines the order in which all of these automated tasks must be performed, what must be finished before another activity is started, etc. The arrangement of automated actions into a coordinated process or workflow is known as orchestration.
Our traditional network where traffic is moving between various Switches & Router in order to reach its final destination. Whenever there is a change or new feature, the necessary configuration commands must be manually entered on all of the appropriate devices. In many cases, this is not only time-consuming, but can also be prone to errors. This becomes a major issue on larger networks or with more complex configurations, while network automation is the process of automating the configuring, operating, deploying, testing, and managing of virtual and physical devices within a network with the help of software.
