إن التطور وانتشار تكنولوجيا المعلومات ووسائل الاتصالات تمثل جزء من أهم أجزاء البنية التحتية للعولمة والتي ساهمت في انتشار العولمة وما تحمله من ثقافة الغرب إلى الوطن العربي ومنها إلى المجتمع اليمني، وهذا التطور في أدوات العولمة صاحبه تغير كبير في هوية وثقافة المواطن اليمني وأن انتشار الجريمة في وقتنا الحالي دليل واضح على التأثير الكبير للعولمة. فوجه الباحث دراسته لمعرفة سبب تأثر المواطن اليمني بالعولمة الثقافية على الرغم من أن الكبار لم تتأثر ثقافتهم، وكونهم لم يتأثروا بها كان من الجدير بنا الاقتداء بهم من أجل الحفاظ على ثقافتنا اليمنية، فيهدف البحث إلى دراسة العوامل التي جعلت من الكبار لا يتأثرون بها والذي مكنهم من الحفاظ على ثقافتهم، وأهمية البحث تظهر في حل مشكلة تأثر المواطن اليمني بالعولمة الثقافية وذلك بمقارنة بين حال الشباب والكبار تجاه العولمة الثقافية، فيصبح حل هذه المشكلة هو في الاقتداء بمن حافظ على ثقافته من الكبار، فمن خلال البحث تمت ملاحظة أن الاعتزاز بالثقافة اليمنية كان أول عامل للحفاظ على الثقافة، يتبعها الاندماج مع التكنولوجيا فكلما كان الشخص فاهماً ومُجِيداً لتكنولوجيا كلما كان عرضة للعولمة الثقافية، وأن وقت الفراغ والذي يستغل بطريقة خاطئة والناتج عن تطور التكنولوجيا ساهم في انتشار العولمة الثقافية، خاصة أن المواطن اليمني لا يعي ما يتعلمه ولا يعي خطر العولمة الثقافية على ثقافته ودينه بل أن خطرها وصل إلى تفكك الأسرة فالمجتمع والذي يتسبب في ضعف سيادة الدولة وهيمنتها، فنجد الحل في الاقتداء بالكبار في حفاظهم على دينهم وثقافتهم وذلك بالتعليم الواعي بخطر العولمة الثقافية والتوعية بأهمية الوقت واستغلال وقت الفراغ في ما يعود بالفائدة على الفرد والمجتمع.

The development and spread of information technology and means of communication represent part of the most important parts of the infrastructure of globalization, which contributed to the spread of globalization and what it carries from the culture of the West to the Arab world and from there to Yemeni society. Our current time is clear evidence of the great impact of globalization. The researcher directed his study to find out why the Yemeni citizens were affected by cultural globalization, although the adults were not affected by their culture, and since they were not affected by it, it was worth following them in order to preserve our Yemeni culture. The research aims to study the factors that made the adults not affected by it and who enabled them from preserving their culture, and the importance of research appears in solving the problem of Yemeni citizens being affected by cultural globalization, by comparing the situation of young people and adults towards cultural globalization, so the solution to this problem is to follow the example of those who preserved their culture from the adults. Through the research, it was noted that pride in Yemeni culture was the first factor preserving culture, followed by integration with technology. The more a person understands and is proficient in technology, the more he is vulnerable to cultural globalization, and that free time, which is exploited in a wrong way and resulting from the development of technology, contributed to the spread of cultural globalization, especially since the Yemeni citizen is not aware of what he is learning and is not aware of the danger Cultural globalization affects his culture and religion, but its danger has reached the disintegration of the family and society, which causes the weakness of the state’s sovereignty and dominance, so we find the solution in following the example of adults in preserving their religion and culture, by education that is aware of the danger of cultural globalization and raising awareness of the importance of time and the use of free time in what is beneficial to the individual and society.
