يهدف البحث إلى بيان الأحكام الفقهية المتعلقة بمسائل الصلاة في المسكن, ودراستها دراسة فقهية مقارنة.
وقد انتظم البحث: مقدمة، وتمهيداً، وثلاثة فصول، المقدمة تضمنت: أهمية البحث, وأسباب اختياره, وأهدافه, وحدوده, والدراسات السابقة, ومنهج البحث, وتقسيماته, والتمهيد تناولت فيه تعريف الصلاة, والأصل في مشروعيتها, وخصائص الصلاة في الإسلام, وتعريف المسكن, والألفاظ ذات الصلة, وذكر المسكن في القرآن الكريم, والسنة النبوية.
الفصل الأول: في المسائل المتعلقة بصلاة الفريضة في المسكن, ويشمل صلاة المنفرد, وصلاة الجماعة, وصلاة أهل الأعذار, والقصر والجمع, وصلاة الجمعة في المسكن. الفصل الثاني: في المسائل المتعلقة بصلاة النافلة في المسكن, ويشمل صلاة التراويح, والعيدين, والكسوف, والخسوف, والاستسقاء, والجنازة, والاقتداء بإمام المسجد لمن في المسكن. الفصل الثالث: درستُ فيه الصلاة في المسكن المغصوب, و الصلاة في مساكن غير المسلمين, وطاعة الوالدين في ترك جماعة المسجد والصلاة في المسكن, الصلاة عند دخول المسكن, والخروج منه, وقبل السفر, واتخاذ مواضع للصلاة في المسكن, والإمامة في المسكن, وبعد المسكن, وقربه من المسجد, وبناء مسكن فوق المسجد,
أو تحته.
الخاتمة: وذكرتُ فيها أهم النتائج, والتوصيات التي توصلت إليها. وأخيرًا ذيَّلت البحث بفهارس علمية؛ ليسهل الوصول للمراد.

Abstract
The subject of the this research: the ruling relating to performing the prayer at home – a comparative research in Islamic Jurisprudence.

Level of Study: Master's Degree
The aim of this comparative research is to clarify the legal Islamic rulings relating to performing the prayer at home.
This research will address the following issues: issues pertain to this research, its aim, the importance of this research and the reason for choosing this research. It will also mention the boundaries in which the research is performed, some of the previous research undertaken in this area, the methodology of the research and its various categories.
The research is preceded with an introduction which is followed by giving the definition of the prayer, the foundation upon which the prayer was legislated and the specifications of the prayer in Islam.
It then goes on to mention the definition of what is considered to be a house/home and a number of other expressions that are related to the topic and where these words are mentioned in the Quran and the Prophetic Traditions. The ensuing research is then divided into three chapters:
The first chapter addresses issues relating to the compulsory prayers which are performed in the house, that consist of both the prayers which are prayed by a single person and those that are prayed in congregation. It also discusses those individuals who are excused from the congregational prayer, the instances where is it permissible to shorten and combined the prayers, and the ruling concerning praying the Friday prayer at home.
Chapter two examine issues pertaining to rulings of performing the supererogatory prayers in the home such as the tarawih( ( prayer, the Eid prayer, the solar and lunar eclipse prayer, the prayer which is prayed when seeking rain and the funeral prayer.It then investigates whether or not it is permissible for an individual who prays in the house to follow the person leading the praying in the mosque.
The third chapter explores the ruling relating to the permissibility of praying in a house that has been require though unlawful arbitrary, a house belonging to the non-Muslims and obeying one's parents if they order the child not to pray the congregational prayer in the mosque or at home.
The research then discusses the matter of praying when leaving and ntering the house and using a specific place in the home to pray, the rulings on the person leading the prayer in the house, the issues pertaining to the distance of the home from the mosque and the permissibility of building an apartment above the mosque. The research is then concluded by mentioning the most important outcomes pertaining to the rulings of praying at home and their recommendations.
Finally, the biography of every scholar mentioned in this research has been alluded to in the appendix, which is then followed with the index for the purpose of easy reference.
