Various attitudes, conceptions about sustainability, environmental sustainability, and the mechanism of it's items, through various epistemological fields which have happened in the world.
The research concentrated on sustainability as: conceptions and tools, by dealing with its items, declaring the mechanism according to the epistemological fields and needs.
The research concentrated on climatic adaptation, according to the selection theory, regarding, that it is impossible to reach a conception of environmental adaptation without knowing the mechanism, through selecting natural and artificial elements, in order to know the mechanism, that can adapt the natural resources, can serve the goal, which can activate university urban spaces buildings, according to comfortable temperature , as specific research problem.
The research depended a hypothesis, that climate adaptation in hot climate regions depends on protection and adaptation, itself as main factors.
The research depended on analytical methodology, according to analyzing three selective universities projects samples with many of their spatial units.
The research reached findings related with adaptation and protection through many values of: inward looking, buildings sitting, clustering, compactness, orientation, buildings shapes and materials.
