الحمد لله الذي مَن علينا فكرة تأليف هذا الكتاب والذي يضم مجموعة من الأبحاث عن ظواهر نفسية و نفس تربوية لدى طالبات الجامعة والتي تمثل دراسات متقدمة في ميدان علم النفس التربوي, نضعها بين يدي القراء من الباحثين والمثقفين بغية الاستفادة من المنهجية البسيطة المتبعة فيهن في الوصول إلى الوقائع والحقائق في الدراسات النفسية , وكذلك الاستفادة من النتائج القيمة والفريدة التي توصل إليها كل بحث لإجراء دراسات مماثلة في مجتمعات إحصائية أخرى بغية الوصول إلى نتائج اعم واشمل عن هذه الظواهر قد توصلنا إلى مبادئ عامة تسهل للمختصين في الفهم والتحكم والتنبؤ بهذه الظواهر بمستوى أفضل مما عليه ألان , وأيضا الاستفادة من المقاييس في هذه الأبحاث لقياس هذه الظواهر , ويضع بين يدي الباحثين مجموعة من المقترحات تساعدهم في اختيار عناوين لدراستها وتقصي حقائقها .
يتناول البحث الأول ظاهرة الأمل الذي يعد مصدراً حيوياً للكفاح و وسيلة ناجعة للتوافق مع ما يحصل في البيئة . وننوه أن هذا البحث قد حصل على المرتبة الأولى في المؤتمر العلمي الخامس لأبحاث تخرج طلبة جامعة الكوفة للتخصصات الإنسانية .
أما البحث الثاني فانه يدرس ظاهرة الصبر الذي يعد مكونا أساسيا في العقل البشري يساعده في إصدار الأحكام الناجعة واتخاذ القرارات السليمة وجعل الفرد هو الرابح في نهاية المواقف والأحداث .
أما البحث الثالث فانه يتطرق إلى المكانة النفسية والاجتماعية الذي يعبر عن اعتزاز الفرد بذاته وأدواره الاجتماعية , وشعوره بالرضا عن نفسه وعلاقاته الاجتماعية , ومستوى قيمته الذاتية الاجتماعية .
أما البحث الرابع يشتمل على ظاهرة الدافع المعرفي الذي يدفع الإنسان اكتساب المعارف والمعلومات عن مختلف الظواهر التي تحيط به وتشكيل خبرات عنها يسهل تكيفه مع البيئة .
في حين عالج البحث الخامس ظاهرة الضغوط واقتصر على الضغوط الجامعية التي يتعرض إليها الطالبات وأهم المواقف والأحداث المزعجة التي يدركنها أثناء دراستهن الجامعية .
