يتناول الكتاب شعر المرأة الفلسطينية معتمداً على النقد النسائي. ويسعى إلى قراءة المشهد في فلسطين، وعلى نماذج من الشتات وغزة والضفة الغربية وفلسطين المحتلة في العام 1948م. تمهيدا لقراءة تحولات النص الشعري للشاعرة الفلسطينية وقضاياها الرئيسة.
جاء الكتاب في أربعة فصول، ومقدمة، استعرضت موضوع البحث وبواعثه، والقضايا الرئيسة في شعر المرأة الفلسطينية، ومنهج البحث، وهدفه، والدراسات السابقة، والمتن المختار، وفرضيات البحث، وخطة البحث. ثم تعرضت للتراكيب وما فيها من خصائص عامة ومن تكرار، وحذف، واستفهام، وتناولت الصور عند الشاعرات الفلسطينيات والتشكيل البصري الذي شكلن به أعمالهن. كما أوضح الكتاب مفهوم الرموز والتناص في اللغة والاصطلاح، وتعرض لتناص الشاعرات مع النصوص الأخرى في التراث الشعبي، والأدب العربي والغربي، والكتب المقدسة.
وختمت المؤلفة كتابها بتناول موسيقى الشعر وأنواع وأشكال الموسيقى التي بنيت عليها نصوص الشاعرات من: قصيدة البيت، وقصيدة التفعيلة، وقصيدة النثر في محاولتهن للتجديد بشكل يتناسب مع تطور العالم من حولهن. واستعرضت الملامح العامة لشعر المرأة الفلسطينية من عام 1967م حتى نهاية القرن وذلك من خلال استقراء الببلوجرافيا التي جمعتها عن الشاعرات في نهاية البحث التي اشتملت على ببلوجرافيا لـ(163) شاعرة فلسطينية، مقرونة بسيرة بسيطة لهن وتوضيح أعمالهن المطبوعة.

The book deals with the poetry of Palestinian women based on women's criticism. And seeks to read the scene in Palestine, and models of the Diaspora and Gaza and the West Bank and occupied Palestine in 1948. In preparation for reading the transformations of the poetic text of the Palestinian poet and its main issues.
The book was presented in four chapters, an introduction, reviewed the subject of the research and its motives, and the main issues in the poetry of Palestinian women, the methodology of research, its purpose, previous studies, selected Metn, research hypotheses and research plan. And then exposed to the structures and their general characteristics and the repetition, deletion, and question, and dealt with the images of the Palestinian poets and the visual composition in which they formed their work. The book also explained the concept of symbols and consistency in language and terminology, and presented to correspond with other texts in the popular heritage, Arab and Western literature, and holy books.
The author concluded her book by addressing the music of poetry and the types and forms of music on which the poets' texts were based on: the poem of the house, the poem of the prose, and the prose poem in their attempt to renew in a manner commensurate with the development of the world around them. She reviewed the general features of Palestinian women's poetry from 1967 until the end of the century, by extrapolating the bibliography she collected from the poets at the end of the research, which included a bibliography of 163 Palestinian poets, accompanied by a simple biography and a clarification of their print work.
