Dr. Saad Al-Saad is an associate professor at the Department of Travel and Tourism / Yarmouk University. Currently, he is the Head of the Department of Travel and Tourism / Yarmouk University (UNWTO-Tedqual Certified Department). Since July 2014, he becomes a Certified Sabre Trainer (Sabre GDS Global Distribution System). He holds two M.S. degrees, the first one in Tourism Management of Cultural and Natural Heritage from UPV Universitat Politècnica de València / Spain, while the second one in Cultural Resources Management from Yarmouk University / Jordan. Furthermore, he holds a PhD degree in Tourism Management from the Catholic University of Eichstaett-Ingolstadt / Germany. He is the author of many research papers. He received a Merit Award from UPV Universitat Politècnica de València / Spain in recognition of the best research paper. He participated in a number of projects like 1) Integrating the Syrian Refugees in Jordan’s Tourism Industry; 2) UNWTO-Tourism Education Quality (TedQual); 3) Tuning-MEDA; and 4) Practical Wisdom for Sustainable Management.
