Adel Badawy El-Shabasy, is Emeritus Prof. of Materials Eng. & Production, Ain Shams ‎University, Faculty of Eng., Dept. of Design & Production Eng.,‎ He got the B.Sc. Degree in Mechanical Eng., from Ain Shams University, Faculty of Eng., Dept. ‎of Design & Production Eng., on June 1981.‎ ‎ He got the M.Sc. Degree in the field of "Design and Manufacturing of Solar Collectors" from ‎Ain Shams University, Faculty of Eng., Dept. of Design & Production Eng., on June 1987‎ During his study for Ph.D. Degree, he traveled to West Germany, to joint Aachen University, to ‎conduct the experimental work of the Ph.D. degree in the field of "Characterization of ‎Mechanical Behavior of Metallic Materials Under Impact Torsional Loading" according to ‎Channel System between Ain Sham University & Aachen University.‎ Prof. Adel B. El-Shabasy has traveled several times to Case Western Reserve University, ‎Cleveland OHIO, USA, he got many Scientific Missions as Postdoc, and as Visiting Professor.‎
