The aim of this paper is to study the possibility of improvement thermal and mechanical properties of CdBa2-x SrxCa2Cu3O8+δ superconducting compounds by particle replacement the Barium by strontium. We have used a three-steps of solid state reaction method to preparation the homogeneous compound CdBa2-x SrxCa2Cu3O8+δ by the partial substitution of Sr+2 into the Ba+2 sites. The substitutions for this compound were taken as with the x=0. 0.4. 0.5 and 0.6. The optimum calcinations was 800 C0 and for sintering was within 845-850 C0. The structural were studied by using X-ray powder diffraction (XRD). X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis showed a tetragonal structure with an increase of the c-axis lattice constant for the samples doped with Sr as compared with those have no Sr content. The XRD data collected from various samples were polycrystalline. It was found that the change of the Sr concentrations of all our samples produce a change in lattice parameters (a, c) , the ratio of lattice parameters c/a, mass density ρm and the volume fraction (Vphase). The thermal and mechanical proprieties were studied. It was found that the change in Sr concentration of all our samples produce increasing thermal and mechanical proprieties.
