- This paper reports on the study and design of innovative multi-dimensional inductive resonating structures for precise delivery of flux in multi- dimensional wireless power transfer and inductive communication systems. Two cooperating resonators are used. A primary transmitter structure supports a secondary transmitter which is architected in the form of six loops forming a hexagonal frame and created from the same inductor. The six loops are individually wound to carry currents in either one direction or to carry currents in opposing directions without breaking up the resonating loop into separate resonators. By specifying unique number of turns in each loop different flux densities can be created. A primary cooperating resonator of twice the radius of the individual loops in the hexagonal structure is mounted on top of the secondary hexagonal frame to create a strong flux pointing along the major axis of the hexagonal frame. The flux from this larger resonator aids the fluxes from the hexagonal frame and points along its major axis. The design is based on the theory of resonating loops.
