This article addresses the security and political challenges in the African continent, which pose a significant obstacle to political stability and state-building efforts. The continent experiences ongoing conflicts, ethnic wars, and military coups, directly impacting citizens' lives and hindering development and political stability endeavors. Despite the diversity and apparent disparities of these crises, they are intricately interconnected. The study aimed to explore the dilemma of political stability in Africa and its relationship with state-building. The article also discussed how political disturbances and the lack of political stability affect the state-building process in Africa. It highlighted the necessity of Transitioning power transfer model from coup d'états to peaceful transition. and instead focusing on crafting an African political model that respects the continent's cultural heritage, historical context, and traditional values, all while addressing its unique challenges. This endeavor aims to Enhance state-building efforts across Africa, particularly in its coastal areas.
