النبذة المختصرة

Yasir Amer Abbas Al-Zubaidi received the B.Sc. (1st Class Hons.) and M.Sc. degrees in Computer Engineering from University of Technology, Iraq, in 2000 and 2005, respectively. He is a staff member in College of Engineering, Diyala University, Iraq. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Universiti Tenaga National, Malaysia. He has been part of the Centre of Automation and Embedded Computing Systems (CAECS) research team. His research interests are in computer engineering, including, embedded systems hardware-software co-design and cryptography application. He has authored and co-authored numerous publications in international journals and conferences. He is a member of the IEEE and the IEEE Computer Society since 2012. He also has received several awards and recognitions throughout his PhD studies such as best paper award (PECON 2014), Silver medal in Korea, Seoul International Invention Fair 2014 (SIIF14) and participated in 3-minute PhD thesis competition.
