مارست المجالس البلدية أدواراً مختلفة في تطور المدن وعلى كافة الصعد العمرانية والخدماتية والتنظيمية والإنمائية. تحاول هذه الدراسة تقديم تصور موثق من واقع سجلات بلدية الزرقاء لمعرفة تاريخها وهيكلها ودورها في مسيرة المدينة خلال النصف الاول من القرن العشرين. وإستخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التاريخي القائم على تحليل المضمون لمعالجة هذا الموضوع للإلمام بمختلف جوانبه. وتأتي هذه الدراسة ايضا للتعرف إلى اهم انجازات بلدية الزرقاء في تطور المدينة خلال فترة الدراسة.
Abstract
The municipal councils played various roles in the development of cities at all levels of urban, service, organizational, and development. This study attempts to present a documented perception of the reality of Al-Zarka municipality records to know its history, structure and role in the city's march during the first half of the twentieth century. The study used the historical descriptive approach to address this issue in order to gain knowledge in its various aspects. This study also comes to know the most important achievements of Al-Zarka municipality in the development of the city during the study period.
