تهدف هذه الورقة البحثية لدراسة النخب السياسية والعسكرية في إقليمي طرابلس وبرقة، ودورها في إبراز سمات الهوية الوطنية خلال الفترة الممتدة من أكتوبر 1912م وهو تاريخ توقيع معاهدة أوشي لوزان بين الدولة العثمانية والمملكة الإيطالية، لما لها من تأثير على حركة الجهاد الليبي ضد الغزو الإيطالي لليبيا، في إبراز سمات الهوية الليبية من خلال النخب الوطنية التي حملت على عاتقها مسئولية الدفاع عن الوطن ضد الاحتلال الإيطالي، وحتى عام 1922م الذي تميز بحراك نخبوي وطني لتوحيد القيادة السياسية والعسكرية بين برقة وطرابلس انتهى بمبايعة السيد محمد إدريس السنوسي أميرًا على البلاد في نوفمبر 1922م.
Abstract
This paper deals with in the egional of Tripoli and Cyrenaica political and military elites, and their role in highlighting the characteristics of the Libyan identity during the period extending from October 1912 AD, which is the date of the signing of the Uchi Lausanne Treaty between the Ottoman Empire and the Kingdom Italian, because of its influence on the Libyan jihad movement against the Italian invasion of Libya, in highlighting the characteristics of identity Libya through the national elites that took upon themselves the responsibility of defending the homeland against the Italian occupation, until the 1922 AD, which was marked by a national elite movement to unify the political and military movement between Cyrenaica and Tripolitania, and ended with the pledge of allegiance to Sayyid Muhammad Idris al-Senussi as Emir of the country in November 1922 AD.
